]]> In the annual REAL Trends 500 study – an independent ranking of the Top 500 U.S. real estate brokerages – RE/MAX Results Sales Associates averaged 19.6 transaction sides last year.  Remax Results ranks high, ranking  two to three times higher than its competitors!

Other noteworthy mentions from this report include:

  • RE/MAX Results was the number one RE/MAX Affiliate in the U.S. with 11,843 total closed transactions.
  • The average sales volume per RE/MAX Results Sales Associate was $3.6 Million in 2011.
  • RE/MAX Results was ranked 19th out of the top 500 largest brokers in the U.S. for total closed transactions sides in 2011.

]]> Yesterday afternoon Marshall Saunders, Co-Owner of RE/MAX Results hosted a Technology in Real Estate Seminar.  The seminar was geared towards real estate agents but there were some interesting statistics that could I think could possibly be helpful to my clients.  If you are thinking of selling your home these statistics are important as well as you want to get the most exposure possible for your home.

  • Remax.com is the #1 branded real estate search site in the United States
  • Realtor.com, Trulia and Zillow are the top 3 search sites in the U.S.
  • In 2011, 32% of people used their smartphones to go online and this number is increasing at a rate of about 2% per month
  • In 2011 96% of buyers used their mobile device for some part of their home search, 38% used it exclusively!!!

What is this telling us?  People are searching for their homes more and more on line and with mobile devices.  I market my homes on as many websites as possible, I have a mobile friendly website, I offer the Results Radar app for FREE (download available on the right sidebar of my home page), and I am available on my phone with text or email.  If you want to sell your home these days you need to be online and mobile!
